Moving claims

We got started in the moving claim industry back in 1988. I accepted a job with a well-known company in this line of work. People moved to our region for different reasons, mostly job related, and in doing so the movers often damage their possessions in the course of the move. A moving claim is then filed with the mover and we go out to inspect the items and take digital photos. Depending on the claimant’s coverage for their shipment, we often have authorization to procced with repairs prior to scheduling of an appointment. This helps to expedite matters and prevent follow up service calls in many cases.

With over 3 decades of service in this niche of work, we have resolved thousands of moving claims.

This is where our motto comes into play “When others fail, we excel”. Often people’s belongings get damaged in the moving process and one feels like the moving company has failed them. Most often it’s gouges, chips, scratches, nicks and rubs to furniture. Occasionally furniture or other things get broken and we need to custom make replacement parts and finish to match. Our restoration process has been honed and perfected to the highest quality over these many decades of service.
